- Model: 709993304224
- Weight: 300.00g
Description
Almond flour has
been a popular alternative choice to carbohydrate-containing wheat flour in the
health and fitness community as it is low in carbohydrates and higher in
healthy fatty acids. Almond flour is also often used by those who don’t
tolerate gluten-containing flours that cause digestive distress.
Almond protein
flour has the same benefits, with even more to offer from its high protein
content.
Made from
finely ground almonds that are defatted using a simple process that doesn’t
involve using any chemicals, almond protein flour is far higher in protein than
regular almond flour, leaving a superior product without any change in the
taste and texture you have come to enjoy when using regular almond flour.
Almond flour is also low in phytic acid as the skins, which contain the
antinutrient that may alter the absorption of nutrients in certain plants, are
removed during the blanching process, which is the step required before
defatting and grinding.
Almond protein
flour can be used in any of your trusted recipes ranging from baked goods, to
sauces, salad dressing and even to add to smoothies and more. Because it offers
such a great protein source, it is a more versatile form of almond flour. With
5g of fat and 20g of protein per serving, it tailors to a wider range of people
for example, those looking to boost their protein intake, lose weight without
going onto a strict keto diet, and even as an additional protein source for
those who are already following a keto eating plan.
Almond protein
flour may be finer than your regular flour and other almond flour options so it
is important to measure the almond protein flour exactly, especially when using
it in recipes. The best way to do so is to scoop the desired amount of almond
protein flour into a bowl, fluff it up with a fork to ensure it is not
compressed, and then remeasure the desired amount being sure not to pack it
down.
